Great deal. You can also keep the pruning saw and return the batteries. The pruning saw comes to $99.50.

I'm a reformed former HD hacker and I would strongly suggest not hacking anymore. Give it up! It's just not worth getting your account banned.

Luckily I was able to get out of jail, but lost all my receipts after HD banned my account last year.

After getting ZERO help with Customer Disservice, I did what any self-respecting Millennial would do: Public Shaming on Twitter @ their customer relations department, CEO, and company handle.

(Sadly, this method has gotten the BEST results when the first call to CS fails to get anywhere. When you get run into a circle and they refuse to escalate OR help you, just smile, hang up, and write a scathing post on the MuskRat eXpress.)

My account AND address were eventually reinstated, but I still cannot pay with Paypal for anything. No idea why, I can use Credit just fine. But they refuse to accept PP. Tried it one day, and they're like.....we not legally obligated to tell you why OR to take your order via any payment method we want.

"Um, a bit extreme, but okay...."

If they don't want your money, just give it to someone else. There are very few things that are exclusive to Home Depot. If they want to play stupid games, they win stupid prizes. If they don't want people doing these "hack deals" why not just stop offering the ability to do them. Seems like a pretty simple thing to do in this age of A.I. coding.

I've done a handful of these HD hack deals over the years, on both dewalt and Milwaukee tools and batteries. I've never had a problem or been blacklisted, maybe I'm just not enough of a frequent flyer. But if you do happen to get "banned" from Home Depot, who cares? Most everything they sell is available cheaper or close to the same price elsewhere.

It was a simple thing to do before.
