Almost 5 years old. 12th Gen 12xxxH laptop processors weren't announced until start of 2022 and hit the shelves a month or two later.
Secondly, scout the stores for gaming laptops and you would see that because of the inflated prices, you would only find 3050s in this price range now, or maybe 4050 for $50+ more.
Thirdly, despite being almost 5 years old, 12700H is still a very capable processor.
