A lot of sugar per serving but it's locked in a fiber matrix so the glycemic index is only ~29 and the "naturally occurring sorbitol (a sugar alcohol that draws water into the intestines)-Grok" aids in digestion.

Fruits have A LOT of sugar, remove the water and you have a much high concentration of sugar that looks scary (but isn't) on a nutritional label.

Can't tell if you're just repeating what I said or trying to make a different point. Fruit is different than eating sugar in the form of candy because your body processes the fruit differently so it doesn't just spike your insulin. Fruit takes awhile to eat, your body digests it slowly, etc. That being said, you shouldn't just load up on dried fruit because it is concentrated sugar, but the recommended serving of 5 prunes is fine for the benefits in this case. Can't say that's true of all dried fruit.

dried fruit may have 'sugar' but its not refined sugar. Fruit has natural sugar, which isnt bonded with table sugar. The body doesnt say wtf what do I do with this when it processes it. Class dismissed.

What sUgAr iN ThE FoRm oF CaNdY are you talking about? This is a PURE FRUIT. As god / nature / the mother earth / ET designed it. LOL...
Seriously, do you have any idea what a prune is? I have plum tree, I can make prune by leaving a plum in the sun. Do you think the tooth fairy injects extra sugar when you aren't watching?
FWIW, if you are eating bags of prunes (or candied covered fruit) to the point you become diabetic...that is your problem, not the fruit.

I was making the same point "sir." The person's knee jerk reaction of the big scary sugar is absurd since that is literally a plum with some water removed. If that is too much sugar to them, wait until they find out about apples.
FWIW, your knee jerk reaction flying off the handle the other direction is also absurd (not to mention, while completely misunderstanding my clearly stated point) . Perhaps you shouldn't have dropped out of an accredited Slickdeals University School of Medicine program
