Status match eligibility depends on your tier at the time you register. Not every tier receives a status match. Some tiers are instead offered an accelerator challenge — a faster path to status that requires a set number of Qualifying Nights.
Elite status will be granted within 6 weeks of successful account linkage.
Marriott Bonvoy points and elite status earned upon completing the stay requirements will also be credited within 6 weeks after meeting the conditions.
From the second year onward, benefits will be provided around spring each year.
