Also smaller which is a plus IMO, though I suppose having the tray provides some piece of mind that you don't accidently bump it and disconnect.
Note the listing and reviews seem to indicate that the 24watt PSU might not be able to handle BluRay writers when writing, though 24 watts should be sufficient for any other optical drive use scenario.
