It'd alright, the graphic style is a diorama and the character models can be a little quirky with big heads. There is a lot of content, the gameplay is turn based with standard progression and character development. 6/10 so far, unable to hook me.

I have that one enroute from a previous Slickdeal, I was hoping for something different, but it was cheap and apparently an all time classic I never played, so worth a shot, if not at least it's a physical version.

my favorite game off the ps1! I use to read the manual during potty time. Opinion skewed by childhood nostalgia but the sound track was banging. Barely got to the second disc as a child and got it on an emulator to beat it as an adult. That being said, will wait for a greater sale for this remaster

I tried playing it back in 2007 on the PS1, but it wasn't able to keep me hooked on it. To be fair, I had just got hooked into the series again playing DQ8 on the PS2, which hit all the Dragon Warrior nostalgia for me from my NES days. I tired again when they released an updated version for the 3DS and got pretty far into the game before I just lost all free time to play games.

I am excited to play it on the Switch, and have been waiting for a sale on this.
