I don't know the quality of the current NF bags today but mine is a buy for life.
Worth it. I have the same model I bought in 2008. Finished college with it, continued using it traveling across the US and abroad to this day. I haven't washed it once. No holes, no zipper failures, flaps and pockets are intact. The only thing that gave out was a looped paracord on one of the zippers. I swear I literally bought it from a frontpage slickdeal posting for about the same price.
I don't know the quality of the current NF bags today but mine is a buy for life.
