Thank you, I didn't know that. (I don't have a Sam's Club membership.) I'll add this to the original post. Reps to you for your help.

don't do it. they're complete muppets. they don't understand tire pressure, they'll destroy your tpms, they don't care about torque specs.

If buying new tires, W+ gets a free upgrade to the road hazard with installation.

Yes, that's true, another W+ perk.

I believe that's true, and I'm a big fan of Discount Tire. I do think Walmart's a very good option for convenience (both location and time).

Agreed. This is not a benefit. In my area they're booked out 5-9 days in advance and won't do walk ins. Not to mention the last time I was in there they told me I didn't need to replace all four tires on my AWD at the same time. Despite the fact this was posted on their wall on a poster. Complete buffoons.

They only have equipment to do tires up to 20 inches. Anything larger than that they wont do. I had bought some 21 inch tires from them online and when I went to have them installed they said they couldn't do it because 20 was the largest they could do. Also Goodyear stores will do free tire repairs which is where I normally go to as they are down the street from me.

Echoing others. Walk-in only, but if you have the time it's a nice perk. Gone a couple times, but they won't repair if it's in the outside treads, I bought myself a tire repair kit (they are cheap) and took care of it myself in the end.

Not at any of the Walmart's I've been to; Majority of the time the auto center at Walmart is packed with people and service takes forever. I'm usually in and out of Discount Tire in like less than 15 minutes if I need a tire repair.
