No they require a min transfer speed not sure what it is but pci 3 cant do it ...i think 4500 or 5000

A google search indicates it uses TLC instead of QLC, which is a plus. Not that there aren't QLC drives that are faster and with higher endurance than this one though.

I don't have a time machine, but it was funny in a sad sort of way to check my Amazon purchase history. I bought a pair of the nicer MP34 1TB drives for $98 total in March of 2023. I have some 4TB MP34s from around the same time for $185. Those have all been solid drives.

Sigh, right.... i bought a NICE crucial t500 1tb early august 2025 for 75$.... now 290.
