I have one of these and four batteries in use 24/7 for 4 plus years. No issues and still occasionally getting software updates. Works great as a whole house UPS grid backup and solar generator. My hodgepodge collection of solar panels brings in 2,600 watts. Great deal, I think I paid over 2k back then just for the AC500, no battery included.

I know right. The battery by itself is $900 (refurbished) to $1100 (new on sale). I just dont need another AC500 inverter. Otherwise, i would jump on this set up.

How do I determine what size battery I would need? Is there a calculator? My average monthly consumption is 2000KWh
