I've personally gone through a ton of their PLA-CF. I printed a bunch of lithopanes for my kids school and used this pla-cf for the frames. Prints easily and very clean. Just ensure that you used a hardened nozzle as you would for any CF filaments.

Interesting...I thought pla-cf wasn't supposed to be used for anything to be handled.

That's not my personal experience with this filament. The GF filament I've used felt a little off to me, as if I was feeling tiny particles or something on the prints, so I stopped using that.

Ya, I was told it was the same for CF. Thanks for the info!

I suppose it could depend on the brand, but this was my experience with Elegoo's PLA-CF/PETG-CF vs PETG-GF (I don't believe Elegoo makes a PLA-GF)

You should always take more precaution with anything made with hard fibers such as carbon, mineral, or glass. The dust exposure can lead to irreversible damage to your lungs, over time, and intense irritation acutely. The fibers easily embed in your skin and body tissues, like tiny splinters. An easy way to mitigate the risk, post-printing, is to paint or clear-coat your items.

I like this filament. Prints clean, no issues with fibers. I do not need to post process this though.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

12$ is a really good price for PLA-CF, Eryone on sale is generally 18$ and that almost never happens.
Love the way PLA-CF looks, the parts almost look cast.

I just printed this for the first time today and it printed really well and looks amazing. It's more a matte look than the shiny of standard petg which I hated.
