I don't remember how much we paid for our Toshiba inverter microwave, however I can report that it does work very well. I really like the reheat and the rapid defrost functions. You can also add more time in 30 seconds increments just by pressing a button which is nice

We got the 1.2 cu. ft one for $110 from Target and we've been pretty happy with it! We opted for a unit without a turntable and it actually is preferable IMO. It feels simpler to pause and rotate and skip having another part that could fail, and it gives you more capacity for a mid size unit.
