EDIT: I've been dairy free for 7 years and use pea protein on a regular basis. The issue with the taste of this is not because I am comparing it to whey protein - the issue is that it tastes terrible. I have a protein shake just about every morning that consists of pure pea protein (I've had two to three different manufacturers), a scoop of Orgain (I've had about five different flavors), sometimes rice protein or peanut butter powder protein, and with a base of Ripple vegan milk that is largely pea protein. And my shake tastes good. Vega tastes like a chemical concoction.

This is marketed towards vegans or lactose intolerant individuals and not your general consumer. If you're not a vegan there's no reason purchase or knock this since the price per pound is OK
