I bought the big Klipsch speaker. I couldn't believe they would slap their brand name on a cheap Chinese speaker like that. Never again. No more Klipsch for me.

I realized that after buying their dolby atmos soundbar. Klipsch: this is what cheap sounds like. You used to get better speakers from radio shack back in the day for a fraction of the cost... people these days don't seem to realize the brand name shell game being played with Klipsch, monster, jbl... they are basically a Shenzhen Chinese market product with American high quality name pasted on.. for American market prices.

Klipsch and Monster I can understand. But JBL? They make great bt speakers. Unless you get the counterfeit ones which is actually pretty prevalent.

I have the Klipsch Detroit, and it is far better than any UE boom or LG, or Bose I have ever had.

The funny thing is some cheap Chinese speakers nowadays would sound pretty decent. The problem is Klipsch must have used bottom of the barrel ODMs for their stuff to maximize profit. I guess the brand will show up at TJ Maxx pretty soon which is sad.
