It is manual tent old model and needs 2 people technically. Instant tent pre- poled are modern tents

I bought this in July from Dicks. It was $100 +tax ($120 - $20 code).

I slept in it all of last week during a fishing trip.

It's decently roomy inside and kept us dry despite quite a bit of rain. Everyone agreed that the door design is very handy.

My only significant complaint is that it must be staked down, at least at the corners. The center section is basically a freestanding dome tent, but the end arches won't stay up without stakes. To really make the rain fly cover and keep rain off the tent fabric, it should be tied off to stakes as well, but that's less irritating.

Minor complaint: Coleman really should have given the storage bag a little more room or a zippered pleat like some of their other tents. Getting this all back into the bag was a chore, even after setting it back up at home to dry it out and clean it.

They have a rip off section on the bottom of the bag the gives you extra room

I own this tent in the green color. It's not great. We camp a lot (almost every month with my son's Scout troop + other outings as a family) and I have a variety of tents. I've used this one twice. Broken pole after first use, seemed common when I went back and read reviews. Biggest pain to setup among all my tents.

I am intimately acquainted with the bag that came with this tent. I am also keenly aware that some of my other tents have expandable bags. Allow me to assure you that this one (at least the version that I received from Dick's) certainly does not.

This was our family tent for years. Compared to the instant tent we use now, this takes quite a bit of time to set up. Like others with the older model, the pole broke, but it was easy enough to fix with the 11mm Stansport pole replacement kit. A solid tent if you can't find a deal on another, just realize that this has the same headroom as a dome tent which can be a nuisance for some people.
