I am in the market for a stackable washer dryer and this looks great and there are a ton of good reviews, but the bad ones are bad. Not just stupid people. Does anyone have this? I'm curious to get a persons answer rather than what could be one person just making 100 good themselves to bump it up
I dont own but I saw it in person at the store; its really, really tall if you're going to stack (I wouldn't for these). A person 5'8" or shorter is going to have an annoying time with the dryer controls, especially with given the upward tilt of the control panel.

I have a set very similar to these, the soap dispenser gets moldy super duper fast if you use it as intended (filling it up with soap and forgetting about it until it tells you to refill it). I considered replacing the drawer but the assembly has like 6 hoses coming out of it in Frankenstein fashion lol.
Mine leaks after 3 years but I think that's because I never have time to give the dispenser drawer a good cleaning lol. The machine is still working totally fine. The water valves are the annoying kind that slam on/off like 10 times at the start of a wash cycle which causes my houses pipes to bang. But most modern machines do that. It's quietly except during the spin cycle and even then it's not bad.
On the dryer. The lint tray is this thing that folds in half. It's a really weird design that I dislike. The dryer works fine otherwise.
I think the ultra fresh thing on the washer is a gimmick. It spins the drum slowly for 8 hours or so I think? But you can definitely hear it. I don't use that. I just leave mine open when I remember lol. I think the vents still help some. The rubber seal does get mildew but not that bad. It does love to attract hair in the fold which clogs the little drains lol.
The app is useful only for seeing how long a load has left and turning the machine off. I haven't had any issues with the machines dropping off the WiFi but I do have an AP sitting right next to them lol.
I'd say buy the warranty for the washer in case yours develops a leak like mine does. These stupid things only come with a 1 year warranty! But getting a full LARGE set of machines for the price of a speed queen washer is.. a thought worth thinking about lol
I want a speed queen set >> lol

I agree with the previous poster about the mold in the detergent drawer. I have a similar set (did not stack them) and I keep the doors and drawer open after every load to avoid mold. The washer cleans well and the drier dries but I only use the base settings. I did high heat once and ruined some shirts with graphics so only dry on medium heat or less. We have an extended warranty but haven't had to use it after 2 years. I had read the bad reviews so decided the warranty would be worth the extra cost for peace of mind.

I believe there is a setting where you can use the washers controls to also control the dryer, try googling for it!
