Good news y'all. Costco now sells the 48 inch LG G5. Bad news is that it's built like the C5, with the hump in the lower back, and not flat like the rest of the G series. Item 9548045

Interesting, is Costco the only retailer selling the G5 48" in the states? I was under the impression that this SKU was limited to the UK/Europe. Weird that they would just now start selling a year old TV.

Doesn't appear to be a member only item. So non-members can still buy it online for $5 extra.
Some people prefer smaller TVs? My senior citizen parents are still using the Sony KDL-46EX500 I handed down to them. I tell them it's time to upgrade to a 48" or 55" and they refuse saying those would be too big

We just stopped using a Sony KDL generation tv. Still working when we sold it. Those were built to last.
48" TV... honestly would rather have a worse picture and a bigger screen than a 48".. it's just too small..
I have not gamed in years and years because of all of my tvs being too big and my monitor too small. I just got a 65s90f on that sams deal of $799, but I am still tempted to get a 48 also because I'd rather sit close and not have to move my head back and forth when gaming than tio have a bigger screen and sit farther away.

Mine had a weird issue where it said "firmware update complete" lr maybe it was software update complete, but anyway and then no picture on the screen... only that message and it was a model that could not even RECEIVE updates. lol.

Entirely depends on your physical setup. I live in a small space. The distance from my couch to my TV is only 59" - So a 55" TV is very large in that space, arguably too large.
