$4 cheaper on TCG Player.

I did a financial breakdown the last time these decks were shared around this price; I would be most comfortable getting these for closer to $160 based on the value. There's about $30 of filler per deck, which is tied up in chaff < $2 cards.

You can't really resell 400 cards at individual rates without getting hardcore screwed over regardless. It's just a precon convenience.

I did a financial breakdown, too. The hobby broke me down. Financially.

Thank you for the breakdown. This kind of a deal is really only for a casual player that happened to want some of the cards within these sets, or a super casual that has a playgroup they can just grab a precon and sling cards.

Dang. My son bought me 5 packs of these for $40 each. I don't play (yet, I'm going to start), I don't collect. I just love Marvel and think they look cool. I have hard sleeves and such for them. :/ Yikes. They're like my Pokemon cards. I collect the neat and cute ones, trainers, etc..

So... What's the easiest way to learn how to play MTG?

I do think these aren't terrible set to snag and sit on. I don't think it'll inflate in value as much as LOTR or Hobbit sets but I could see this going for $250 easily next year.

Thanks for the info! I'm starting to feel like a lot of these sets are decent investment opportunities if you have time to sit on them. Probably not as good as Hobbit/LOTR ones. Like if The Fantasticar is ever allowed again, it'd sell for a decent amount. I doubt they'll allow it for a while though.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. You can educate yourself and buy precons at the right price, and yes, some of them are priced favorably against the value of the cards inside. Just not the Marvel non CE decks.

Still not the best price; at 150$ this becomes a better deal. Its been at this price for weeks right now, and there is a reason it isn't moving

I don't think it's going to hit $150. $160, maybe, on an Amazon dumpster fire sale, tho we don't really get those anymore.
