The battery on my Dyson V8 died and I purchased an adapter to use these batteries. I lost the high flow suction but gained a ton of run time.
The batteries don't have built in low voltage cutoff. I stuck one in my kid's power wheels and he had an awesome time until the battery died. Now it no longer accepts a charge. That's on me and I knew I was taking a risk.
The other major brands like DeWalt, Ryobi and Ridgid have been developing and improving their tools by two "generations" since then with tools that are better, smaller, lighter, more powerful etc.
Plus Craftsman's lineup selction is dinky, compared to say Ryobi which has 300 different tools on it's battery platform.
And just the overall deadness of this thread, shows how much anyone cares about Craftsman V20 tools.

Great price. EVERY time I have needed a drill for the past 20 years I pulled out my craftsman. It is awesome.

But I ended up switching to Ridgid and they're a lot better tools.
Another downside, is Craftsman has very little resale value. It's hard to find any buyers.
I just got rid of the last drill, with 2 batteries and charger which were Like New and only got $20.
Not sure if DoorDash is still offering the same discounts today, so YMMV. It's a great deal, especially if there is something else you need to get over $100.
