Just snagged the 65 for 999.97. Lots of warehouses have them in my area.

I'm excited coming from a X900e that i paid 1400 for 8 years ago.

I told myself a while back that if a 77" C5 dropped to 1300, I'd allow myself to get one. But now with C6H having the better panel, I think I can hold off till it drops to my buy threshold. Maybe the C7s when they come out will bump me down the road again, we'll see. No rush for me, my 65" C7 (2018) is still a fantastic TV for me. Moving to 77" seems almost gluttonous, but I'll do it eventually.

This is for brand new. I just grabbed the last one in northern NJ that I could see for $1500. They had the display model left which they told me $1100 for no box

I just got the 65" at Beltsville, MD. It seems to be the only store in NOVA and Southern MD to have them in stock despite what the app claims. When I called, they said they had 12 of 55" and 65" each in stock. When I picked it up, I saw about 5-6 of each on shelves. The store also had plenty of Sanus wall brackets on clearance: tilt only for $60 or full arm for $100.
