Good deal, but be prepared for this stuff to take forever to dry. To make matters worse, there doesn't seem to be a true consensus on how hard this stuff needs to be before you should prime it.

I gave it a couple of weeks and some of it was still somewhat squishy to the touch. Covered it with oil-based primer and then latex paint and so far so good. I've seen some people claim it was still not firm after a couple of months.

Good price, but in my experience it is horrible to work with. It costs significantly more, but Sarco Dual Glaze Putty is easier to work with and a superior final result. Don't forget to also get some calcium carbonate powder if you plan to tackle a window glazing project.

You can paint or prime directly over it with zero dry time, as long as you are gentle with the brush and you are using a good flexible exterior paint or primer. Otherwise paint it whenever you want or don't, it doesn't really need to be painted. But realistically, the next day it should have skinned over enough that you can push it around again to make any final adjustments to your glazing job, then prime or paint. I usually use SW Duration on glazed windows and skip the primer. I'll also use it as a spot filler with oil based primer, it doesn't shrink much and never fully hardens.

Also I use the tubes, I've never tried the tub. If you are good with a caulking gun you should definitely get the tube.
