I started going through the checkout, but everything about this site is a red flag that you shouldn't be giving them personal info. I'll wait until these go on discount at Newegg or Amazon again

I have bought from egifter aroound five times over the last year or two. With No issues.
"- $1 when you apply earned egifter rewards points at checkout = $19."
I registered with eGifter and after buying my first Fandango card for $20, it shows that I have not earned any eGifter points. They do say this: "eGifter Points are not earned on promotions" so maybe that's not why I'm earning the points.
I am curious how you all get the extra dollar off.
Edit: I just bought 5 Fandango cards. They sent the codes instantly and the codes worked flawlessly. I paid $20 each, which is still a bargain. Since this is a promotion, you will not get $1 off.

You should have still earned the points. There's a checkbox on the checkout page that says, "Egifter Instant Points: I want my points applied to this order" and it will instantly take $1 off each. You should now have $5 worth of points in your account you can use on a future purchase, though.

I have ordered and used that checkbox before for instant off, but I am not seeing it for this order.

I had the same problem of not getting the option to use egifter points when I used the link above and signed in and checked out.
However when I went to promos on the site, clicked on Fandango promo, and add to cart, it allowed me to add multiple to the cart and at checkout to instantly use the $4 in egifter points I was earning by buying 4. So it did come out to $19 each for the last 4 ($20 for the first one).

This is the solution. If you try to purchase directly from the link, for some reason you can't use the points at checkout

For some reason, that button doesn't show up when you add to cart and check out directly from the link provided.
If you search for Fandango on the site (easiest way is through the Promos tab), you can add it to cart that way and the extra $1 off will actually show up at checkout.
For reference, I've bought from egifter before and never had this issue, but it's clearly happening to several people via the link provided.
