Because 65–70% of pet owners do, and they're not weird for treating their animals like part of the family. A couch can be cleaned or replaced. The short time you get with a dog or cat can't.

If your idea of ownership is keeping them permanently off the furniture, that's your choice. Just don't act like the rest of us are the strange ones for letting them live in the house instead of next to it.

These work great for crate mats as well. Doubled over 2 layers of pee protection, super soff and cushy easily machine washable. Since our beagle had a knee replacement last week we've been washing his cushion twice a day. He cant put any weight on his 1 back leg, he was already missing one leg. So hes having lots of accidents. Holds up great so far to all the accidents and machine washing!
