Will these window adapters work for vertical windows? None of them ever show a vertical window and those are the only windows we have in the entire house lol.. *I double checked and unfortunately they only have these for 669$ in my location California.
I used this in a hot upstairs bedroom for 2 years before i got a split zone. Made a huge difference, would highly recommend. It's not quiet but worked really well.
This is my second summer season using this model . Bought it for 250 or 300 two or three years ago from Home Depot for same price . Works fine zero issues . I live in Philadelphia Pennsylvania region. Drip hose not required per directions if live dotton southern region of usa. Not humid enough in my region to use drip hose . Collected condensation blows out of the hot air exhaust tube . This is a good model because it has a dedicated in and a dedicated out tube . Filter is easy to wash off and access from the top . Slides out . It's whisper quiet if you have the fan mode on only on low and not using the AC function . The advertisement photos are lacking with honesty regarding the 46 decibels . If you're using it with AC function enabled, it Cycles on and off automatically and it's just as loud as a standard window unit. Which does not bother me . As an apartment dweller, I don't have much choice . Never use the remote . It runs 24 hours a day and Cycles on and off automatically . Zero problems . Very good price and I do recommend it . In case I wasn't clear, the drip tube only needs to be hooked up if you live in an ultra-humid location and run the AC unit function . The drip hose is not required if you live in my type of region . Which means you don't have to have it elevated up in the air for Gravity to work with a drip hose . I don't remember if this model has an internal pump to pump water vertically up and out a window . Maybe the dehumidifier mode will enable the internal pump if it has one . I never used any other function except for air conditioner function . But I'm sure it works great as a dehumidifier also .
See photo attached for wattage used low versus high . I used a watt meter to gather the wattage for dehumidifier versus AC on low and high versus just the fan only on low medium high .
