Legend is the inventor doesn't like to touch his dongle directly to his mac and thought the whole world felt the same

I don't understand the point of this. You're introducing yet-another-failure-point with a plug/socket combo. You typically want to reduce these, not increase them.

The only REAL problem that it could solve is, as shown in one of the product pictures, if the double USB-C adapter ends up blocking the magsafe charging port, and you intended to use all 3. (Magsafe for charging, and dual USB-C for 2 monitors). Then this adapter pushes them out, giving space for a Magsafe cable to plug.

But, I wonder if such adapters in market, with those dual ports spaced perfectly apart to match a MacBook specs, are so poorly designed that they block the Magsafe port.

The only use I could see from this is wanting to protect the ports on your MacBook if you're constantly plugging and unplugging things.

This thing does make sense when you have 5k display + another high res display, and you need to swtich between laptops. Single TB port don't have suffient bandwidth.
I use this to quickly switch between my own laptop and company laptop, if you have maganitc usb c port attached to it, plug/unplug can be done in one second.
