Rainbows and brown trout can get the 20 pound range. Brook trout 4-5 lbs plenty big for a large baits. They use rodent imitation to target large brown trout. Im talking like muskrat size.

My kid likes whoppers for bass, this price doesn't seem special as it's 10.49 on berkley.com and $9.99 at bass pro. Of course free shipping at amazon if you're just buying 1.

For most areas, yeah. We use these to target walleye, musky and small mouth bass on the river. I've used them in lakes to target large mouth as well. We even had a giant channel cat hit one once...Pretty fun stuff. You can't beat top water fishing.

I have to go far for anything like that. While there are some larger species in our lakes, most of the time its just lake trout or sunnies. Thats why I didn't even make the connection that such a large bait could work.
