Just placed the order. Seems EGO snow products get sold out very quickly. This is not the newest version and a Single Stage motor. Doesn't have heated handle grips and larger wheels, but for the discount I will deal with it.

Wonder that the protocol is for long term battery storage.

I have this snow blower. It works really well on all but the occasional hard packed snow boulders at the end of the driveway from the plow.

I have this, live in wisconsin, and it's Meh. I bought it 3 years ago when my gas 2 stage died and I couldn't afford the ego 2 stage. I also mostly wanted the 2 batteries it came with. It really struggles with 4 or more inches of snow. If we get a big storm I have to go out while it's snowing every 2 or 3 inches and do another pass. Forget about what the plow drops in the driveway, it can't touch it without locking up. On a positive note, I haven't had a problem getting my sidewalk and 800sq ft driveway done on 2 5ahs, and it hasn't broken on me at all.If we get a really wet winter this year I'm probably just gonna bite the bullet and step up to the 2 stage even if I can't find a sale.
