That one can only do 90° cuts thru 2x material.
Personally, I can't fathom anyone buying less than a 7 1/4" saw unless they know for certain that they will always be cutting lumber material that's less thickness than typical 2x dimensional lumber (ie. plywood, casing, or trim material).
