It's always funny when people who don't know anything about figures complains about the price. These aren't crappy $20 toys you'd get at Walmart. These are highly detailed models for adults, the level of detail is amazing on these. For $165, this is a great price for the quality of model.

I do remember when figures in the line were $50-75ish though. Back when they did figures for Deus Ex, Mass Effect 3, Bayonetta, and Advent Children. I think the whole line doubled in price around the time Final Fantasy 13 came out and kept increasing. I definitely got the first release of AC Cloud and his Fenrir bike for the cost of this Aerith.
The Play Arts Kai line kept going up to the point where they made the Bring Arts line at a smaller scale similar to figuarts and figma but even those were more expensive than the initial Play Arts figures.

I mean, the base price is reaching Hot Toys pricing which is just nuts comparatively.
