CD Projekt Red is the real deal. They just announced a full remaster of TW3 - free to those who already own the game. Been putting off buying Cyber Punk but I'm adding it to the backlog now.

Steam version is also DRM free. Better to get it there if you play on linux or steam deck as you won't need to tinker with proton yourself.

I came to this thread to say exactly this. CDPR has made me a fan for life. I already own Witcher 3 and the expansions, and happily paid for them all. The fact that they're doing a remaster and a brand new DLC for absolutely free means that we should absolutely reward this company with our patronage. They take care of us, we take care of them. (Unlike most other predatory entertainment companies today that nickel and dime us every chance they get.) Not only that, but GoG (by CDPR) has always been a champion of DRM free gaming. Oh, also, this is a fantastic price for a game that absolutely blew my mind in so many ways. CDPR is amazing.

YES, hold the line for the new Disc to Digital program rolling out now.. You could say I got the PC version for nothing.. my Series X disc drive just became better.

Microsoft said "most" Xbox One and Xbox Series X disc-based games will support the new feature. Here's how it works, in Microsoft's own words:

If you use Heroic Launcher or Faugas Launcher there's no need to tinker with proton either. I've played Cyberpunk 2077 via Heroic (launching the game from steam) without any issues.
