Best Buy has good condition open box 65" and 55" for $1300. Obviously check it out first, but I suspect they're just trying to aggressively move these out now.

Yeah the Sony tax is a bit steep here. Also same price at Costco for added peace of mind for those who have membership.

Latest deal expired, but LG Partner Store has been running $1530 sales on these almost all summer. Obviously it's dependent on Partner Store eligibility.

Annnnd those are all now gone. This is the 2025 year model. I don't think Sony is announcing next year's (since they didn't release a 9 series this year) until at least May. I'm assuming they're going to keep producing the 8 MK 2 for another year at least. All the retailers seem to be responding to Costco's sale price right now. Not a true clearance, IMHO.

I still see some open-box "Good" condition for $1307.99. Going to be location dependent. Also, the in-store open-box prices can often be much lower than what is displayed online.

This is Sony's currently produced top of the line OLED in sizes other than 77in. Don't expect it to be cheaper than this unless they release new ones, wish they don't do until April or May, I believe

They do free shipping within 75 miles for 65 inches or bigger that cost at least $500. Plus I got my refurbished 65 S90F from them for $900 and it was brand new.
