Watermelon flavoring breaks the gum base, don't get watermelon. The other flavors are fine.

Contains Aspartame and actually increases absorption amount and rate of that poison by passing it through your gum tissues as you're chewing. Aspartame is an artificial sweetener and has been linked to behavioral and cognitive problems. Possible neurophysiological symptoms include learning problems, headache, seizure, migraines, irritable moods, anxiety, depression, and insomnia.
Unfortunately, I have personal experience with a number of these side effects.

A single piece of Trident typically contains around 10 mg to 20 mg of aspartame (depending on the flavor and variety).
The Safety Limit: The FDA's Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) is 50 mg per kilogram of body weight per day.
The Math: For an average adult weighing 150 lbs (68 kg), the daily safe threshold is about 3,400 mg of aspartame.
What that means in gum: You would need to chew roughly 170 to 340 pieces of Trident every single day to reach the level where potential health or mood risks are evaluated.
