Have owned many a pair over the years, got burned when they switched to the auto-decay midsoles.
Nothing wrong with being environment-friendly by making your sandals biodegrade, but not while your customers are still using them!!
Nothing compares to the shock of opening a factory-sealed box of new Chacos you paid $100 for a couple years after and see the footbed already coming apart.
But there was a lifetime warranty back then, right? Turns out, that was on everything but the midsole. (You're screwed.)
But, but they can still be worn for a time? Only several days, then the midsole breaks in half.
Hope they've reverted formulation by now. Too disgusted for many years to even buy another pair.
