As a lunatic that trained 7 days a week and some days doubles, you can get absolutely shredded with a rack that only goes up to 50lbs. Plus, you can always put your 65/75's and up on the floor under the rack. This is a pretty good deal for the weight count and the rack.

Check the welds on the rack when you get it. I've bought three CAP things, and all three had bad welds when unboxed. Not that big of a concern with a storage rack, I guess, but mine are a bench, a hex bar, and a post for 2" plates. CAP was great about replacing the pieces quickly, and I'd buy from them again even with the quality issues because the customer service was great.

Purchased this previously, used 6 days a week. No reservations and would buy again without hesitation

It's fine they hate themselves. They get paid good money to deal with packages and garbage load quality from their preloaders. Most hate management worse than the packages.

been slowly building a 5-50 rack for some time. mostly through deals here. when you account for a decent enough rack or 2, which will run you $100-$200 (i ended up needing 2 racks because the wife wanted some 1/2 step dumbbells - 17.5lb, 22.5lb, etc- which most 5-50 racks are not designed to accept) and striving for <$1 / lb deals (my last 2 pieces, the 45s and 50s came out to about 84c and 86c per lb respectively through walmart deals) , you get a nearly identical deal to this. so a pretty darn good deal I'd say. now it's not gonna beat a facebook marketplace dumpster dive deal, but that can be a hassle.
as far as CAP rubber incased dumbbells themselves, i have several in my set. what's nice is even though my set is mismatched brands (cap, flexwave, blanceform, etc) they pretty much all look basically identical. the ones i get from cap havnt had quite as strong a smell or oiled up/greasy issue as say balanceform (those things are still basically dripping with grease), which is nice. Now as for if they were correctly weighted, I'm not positive. I have some cap dumbbells that are spot on, and some that are 0.5-0.9 lbs off +/- from their stated weight, so really gotta take into consideration how anal you want to be with the stated weights. Granted mine are older, so maybe they fixed their QA issues since then.
One nice thing to note with this set is it's a 2tier rack, slightly lower height than your traditional 3 tier. which means a couple things: 1) slightly lower height lets you put it infront of say mirrors and not obstruct the view quite as much. 2) 2 tier widens the space between the upper and lower racks giving you more room to unrack and rerack dumbells. Having a scrunched up 3 tier rack can be annoying un/reracking over and over again. So while this is a good bit wider than most racks, I think it's more optimal for say home garage gyms that has a wall of mirrors somewhere.

Yes for sure. If you also have the space.

Is the rack worth the $110 price difference compared to Walmart?

In my opinion, if:
1) you dont plan to expand your set, or just plan to store extra dumbbells some other way (like on the floor underneath the rack)
2) need a fairly low height solution, because you want to put mirrors or something behind the rack
3) dont already have a rack or way of storing these
4) just want a 2 tier setup and not a 3 tier setup (3 tiers are a good bit less wide, but taller, and more cramped to un/re-rack the dumbells, but are cheaper. can find 3 tiers for $80-$100 most the time on sales)
Then, yes.
the cheapest 5-50lb 2-tier rack sold separate i could find was from WF Athletics and it's about $180 on amazon and $255 on their site. The CAP 2 tier rack sold separate is $255 on their site and $380 through a third party on amazon atm.
