Refurb is just a new battery most of the time because they sat on the shelf too long

Yes, and other than for very few narrow use cases (super high-end audio electronics; medical equipment), what would be the real difference????

The true sinewave would be overkill for that, but it would be fine.

Cleaner power will reduce waste heat in the electronics being powered by this. It should also last longer for the same amount of battery capacity. You won't notice any difference until it switches to battery power, though. If you have pretty stable power and this is only because you want 100 percent uptime, it'll be fine for a few minutes a month.
