Base price is $5.08 so you can get pretty close to the $40 threshold without going way over too much, so $40.64 - $10 = $30.64, then - $6.10 = $24.54, then the coupon on top so - $3.81 = $20.73 or ~$2.60 per package rounding up. That's actually LESS than the Bentons knock-off Aldi sells which is half the size.
If you really, REALLY like soft batch cookies and can somehow store the unopened packages safely to keep them moderately fresh until you can finish them off, this is actually an insanely good deal. I actually went and got 8-pack orders of this and the Chunky family size as well so that's the better part of a year's worth of deserts and whatnot covered for me right there.
