Existing T-Mobile customers can get up to a $900 trade in value on Google Pixel 11 phones. The trade in can include some lower end phones and ones in "any condition" including broken.

The correct rebate only showed when I was logged into my T-mobile account. It says it's for "Essentials and select legacy plans". My old T-Mobile ONE plan worked. Does the older Simple Choice plan work? I don't know.

Here is a link to the base Pixel 11 for an example:

https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...e-pixel-11

For a base Google Pixel 11 this would make it basically free. For higher end models it's a $900 discount.

Interestingly, the plan says the credits are split out over 36 months, but the checkout and my actual order confirmation show it's only spread over 24 months.

Important for Costco members: ordering from costco saves you a $35 device connection fee and may get you a $100 Costco card:

Meh it's hard for me to justify signing up for any deals after they've raised the plan pricing twice in a year. 36 month credits is brutal... If they move me off my legacy plan and raise prices any more I'm gone.

I hear you. But correction it's really just 24 months in my case, I think the promo is mis written.

Realistically, given reasonably good plans with Mint or Visible Wireless or US Mobile are available at close to dollar 20 per month, you are definitely overpaying for T-Mobile essentials ($50pm) by at least dollar 30 per month.
that means Over 24 months you are paying $720 extra for opting for T-Mobile over any of these budget carriers. You can buy a pretty decent device for that price. For example you can get a Samsung galaxy S 26 for $580 including a year full of unlimited mobile plan. the same thing for a Google pixel 10 is closer to 330 bucks.

First they raised their prices for legacy plans, now they want to hook them for 3 years. T-mobile has became trash and only cares about screwing their customers

This is a targeted/segmented promo. This means only certain accounts "chosen" by T-Mobile will see this offer, and if you don't see it you don't qualify.

Not enough to keep me, raised my monthly $70 by eliminating Kickbacks. Moving to USMobile.

More like, if you are paying them well already, they'll throw you some scratch, but if you've leveraged timing and promos and you're less profitable, no pixel for you!

Or it could be you're on a cheaper plan and this is a way to lock you in for 24 months before they raise prices for your plan.

They're slick...they've left room to make it 36 months, and hope you won't notice.

Tempting, but T-Mobile has burned so many bridges, it's probably another trap like the Pixel 10 deal last time.

Huh? The eip will show either 24 or 36 months depending on the plan. It's also in the signed documentation. My plan shows 24 months.

Many of us are on legacy plans paying way less. YMMV

Please explain how the pixel 10 deal was a trap? I received mines and pay 0 a month for it. T-Mobile credits the phone every billing cycle which satisfy the total amount owed for the phone. I only pay for my plan.

As soon as your pixel 9 is paid I'm done with T-Mobile. They took away the credit card option to pay by removing $5 discount and now the line increases. Plus the Tuesdays are never useful to me.
