Bought this on the Beach deal a few weeks back. Was concerned about the brightness as our den has windows on both walls at 90 degrees from this, and a fairly large skylight just a little forward of it. As it turns out, I need not have worried. We replaced a highly rated 2 year old 65" qled with this and are quite pleased with the upgrade. The sound is good enough that we haven't used our soundbar since we installed it. It was a bit heavy and awkward to lift onto its stand, and then on to our tv stand, so make sure you have help! We paid $1,450 (plus tax) with a four-year warranty and are perfectly satified with our purchase.

We're never going to get a 65-inch Panasonic OLED deal again are we?

edit: I did notice they have the 55-inch LG C6 for the same price. Wish it was the 65-inch version even if a couple hundred more, but that one doesn't get a discount

this TV has probably the best integrated speakers, can rival a $300 soundbar and while it has integrated subwoofer it also has option to add an external subwoofer.

This was one of the best purchases I have made. There is nothing not to like about this TV. It's big, it's bright, the blacks are amazing, and the built in sound is more than adequate. The only potential minor drawback is the included Fire TV ecosystem, but that's easily remedied with the streamer of your choice. I paid $1500 in January and at $1200 it's an absolute steal.

Definitely worth the price, but read before you buy.

Got this TV on amazon, it had the incorrect weight listed and it is heavy. Weighs 110+ lbs with the tv stand and ~98lbs without.

If you live in an apartment I would recommend getting a different OLED that weighs about half this.

My complex does not allow wall mounts so I had trouble finding a TV stand that supports 110+ lb because of all the weight being centered in the middle. Not a lot of MDF/engineered wood TV stands can handle this weight unless you are willing to spend $$$. Ended up having to buy an ugly rolling TV stand that was made out of metal just to support the weight.

Are there OLEDs that weigh significantly less than this though? OLEDs generally weigh more than LED TVs. If you want something lightweight you need to get a smaller TV and one of those budget tier TVs that have barely anything inside of them other than cheap panels and edge backlights.

Can someone confirm if this comes with a 4-year warranty from BuyDig? Can't seem to locate via that eBay link.

Edit - confirmed with Panasonic support that it comes with a 1-year warranty directly from BuyDig. They would be the ones assisting versus Panasonic directly

They weigh around 50-60 lbs for the same size.

LG 77" C5 weighs ~52 lbs without and ~60lbs with stand.

LG 77" G5 weighs ~74lbs without and ~87 lbs with stand.

Huge difference as most modern MDF/Engineered wood from like IKEA, walmart, etc... usually has a maximum weight of 60-70lbs.

I have this TV and I'm still playing with setting to get the pic and sound where I want it. Here's the biggest pros and cons.

Pros: price, picture, built in sound, DV and HDR10+, software is pretty snappy.

Cons: it's heavy, like over 100 pounds, dialing in pic and sound has been ongoing, sometimes the TV turns on and there's no apps, sometimes I hit power to turn it on and it doesn't.

Fire TV isn't great but isn't horrible. It's pretty fast but has annoying ads and weird quips. It also has weird display ratio issues with some streaming like apple. I put an apple tv 4k on and it's good. Picture quality is a little improved, but I'm wondering if it's worth it , or maybe it should be used on one of my other laggy tvs

In the end I'm happy with it especially for the price. The savings over the comparable C5 is worth it to me.

Can you link the stand you ending up buying? This will be going in my basement and no way in hell I'll be mounting it at 98 pounds lol.
