Be sure to cancel or it will auto-renew. Not sure what the "and students" means (could be younger than 18 or over 24 if a student? YMMV).

If you don't see the 18-24 year old on the landing page from link in op, click on the lower right link that say "18-24 or a student?" Then you'll get to the 6 month free page. I've attached pics of both to op.

If the link in op doesn't show the 18-24 year old program, click the link in the lower right. See attached pic…

Not free, at least for me. $6.99 a month for government assistance recipients, which isn't me although I do get social security.

No age limit for students. I am in my late 60s and received it while attending a free community education class at my local JC.

Did you click the top link in the lower right ("Are you 18-24?") or did you click the link below it ("Receiving Gov't Assistance?") But from what I understand, (I've tested this without being signed in), if you click the top link (18-24) it should take you to the page shown in the first screenshot I posted in op…I'm sure this all assumes you don't currently have prime and are using a new email/phone # to sign up for the free 6 mo trial. Anyway, good luck!

Any way to take advantage of this if you already have Prime? Cancelling first and then re-subscribing maybe?

Have you had a free trial for Prime previously? If you have had any kind of free Prime "trial", then I don't think you can get another free trial.

You probably can or just wait until current expires. The offer has been ongoing for years.

Don't think you can get the free trial though if you've had one before. Even if for the regular version.

It was Excel, but the class didn't matter. Just take one community education class for free, and get Amazon Student.
