Junk. No reason for side pockets on cycling shorts.

Been using this for my rides this year. They're pretty solid. I recommend it.

Not necessarily junk. Is this comment based solely on the side pockets?

I love my pockets on my cargo bibs. Use them for fruit snacks, gels, and electrolyte packets. Jersey pockets get the peanut butter crackers, banana, phone, and frozen water bottle.

The sizing seems a bit bizarre. Large is 5'8" - 5'9" (150lbs-160lbs), waist 35"-37". XL is 6'0" - 6'3" (170lbs- 185lbs), waist 38"-40". These measurements are strange

I agree but was looking at others actually last night and they're similar. Something gets lost in the conversion. Also though it depends if you want them long. I feel like they make them extra long so technically they work for a lot of people. Mine don't fit right and I'll downsize on these if I bite.
