Actually, while this lens really is due for a smaller and lighter replacement better suited for mirrorless cameras, there does not yet seem to be a newer version of it at B&H. There does not seem to be a "DG DN" model designed specifically for mirrorless cameras anywhere.

That's because the 24mm F1.4 DG DN sorta replaces it. It's almost half the weight and uses newer autofocus system, though that is almost twice the price too ig

No, it does not. The 24mm focal length is a common one, with many on the market, and Sigma has its own such offering. The 28mm is entirely different.
