This is one of the top dashcam only brands. They've been around for a very long time, they're not a "unspellable brand name". I have a couple of older models, including a DDPai Mini2 from 2019, and they're still working fine.

I bought the Nexus 5s by vantrue about a year and a half ago for over $400 and this camera seems to check all the same boxes. But my Nexus uses the Sony starvis 2 sensor on all four channels however u will pay an additional $50 for the memory card for the Nexus no way around it I spent over $100 on 3 different top quality fast memory cards and they all failed you have to use a specific card and it's just best to buy the vantrue card.
I would buy this if I didn't already have the Nexus 5s

It's good that they use SD card rather than built-in storage now. Make sure to get "endurance" SD card. I had one from this brand with built-in storage, and after a few years of use (I drive way less than average people), the internal storage is worn out and would lose recordings.

Bought a few of these DDPAI Z60 Pro from AliExpress last Christmas when they went on sale. Paid about $100 including tax. Surprisingly, they all arrived within 3 days and they shipped from Amazon. Not sure if same case here. Installed them all on friends and family cars. So far so good. It has built-in 32gb EMMC storage as well as a micro SD card slot. Bought high endurance cards for these (make sure to buy 'high endurance', or the SD card manufacturer's equivalent). Front camera is real 4k and uses Sony IMX678 Starvis 2 sensor.

Whichever dashcam you go with, make sure it specifically states it has the 'IMX678' sensor (not just 'Starvis 2'). Thank me later.

The only thing I didn't like about these was the gold fascia. It's so easily noticeable when looking at the windshield from the outside. Wanted a stealthier look. Painted it matte black using acrylic pen. Problem solved.
