Savings aren't super great, but Shimano 21 speed cassette and at 31 pounds, it's 7 pounds lighter than the 21 speed bike currently on sale at Walmart. If you can get passed the VEVOR name, it's a really good bike for $172.

I already have a second bike that is steel and it is a fun ride for longer, slower trips. I suspect this one would be similar.
I would not recommend this for a city bike if you will be going onto and off of curbs. A mountain bike or hybrid would be better choices, but they are not nearly as good for long distances.
