Have this for my seven year old. It's a decent starter e-scooter for cheap, which is what I was looking for. The kids will grow out of it quick.

Yeah, I was going to recommend jumping ahead to one of the Aovowheel scooters for a little more, they can run in Eco mode at pretty low speeds, but can also handle 250+ lbs...at least on flat ground!

We previously made the mistake of buying a "kids" scooter and it lasted a few frustrating months.
