OMG yes. The pass-thru connectors (along with the crimp tool for these) makes things SO much easier. You get a perfect termination every time.

I had good luck with a $~15-20 clone from Amazon for doing a dozen or so crimps a few years ago. Can't say if it would hold up as well as the name brand if you are doing hundreds, but I was happy saving a few bucks.

I did but both of these not in sale and they do work well. Better than the traditional non pass through method in my opinion

I'm a huge fan of Klein but can't recommend this based on use. After about 30-35 crimps it stopped working well - cutting the excess wires and securing the pass through end. Even after replacing the blade it didn't work great. Ended up getting a look-a-like tool on Amazon and haven't used the Klein one since.

I've done well over 100 connections with this and the connectors and it's working the same as day one.

I'm sure I could have purchased something cheap on amazon but those are the gamble these days and i'm not about that anymore. This is a great tool.

I've been using the Chinese version of this tool, which looks nearly identical, and costs $12-ish. Works great. Over 200 cables in on 2 tools and still cutting and crimping normally.
