Not enough of an upgrade between the S25 Ultra and S26 Ultra to be worth it to me, especially since you can get a brand new in box unlocked S25 Ultra with 1TB of storage at Woot [woot.com] (though not in black, as that color is sold out) for the same price as the S26 Ultra 512GB as sold in this deal.

Oh dang I'm torn. I picked up a s26+ 512 from mint with annual plan for a total of 1098. There's the s25u 1tb for 1049, and then this.

I'll return the s26+ and go for more memory and storage.

This looks like an amazing deal! I was planning to wait until winter sales, but I'm really excited to upgrade from my OnePlus 8T. I've been looking for a great offer on the S26 Ultra and this might be just perfect!

FYI - the Woot S25 Ultra deal is only good for the next two days or until sold out. The one I got back in June was brand new in a factory sealed box, which is what they are advertising.

However, that being said, Woot has been selling those new 1TB S25 Ultras off and on since sometime in May, I think at prices that have varied between $999.99 and $1,149.99.

If you are a Prime member and use Amazon checkout, you get free shipping, and if you pay for it through Amazon checkout with an Amazon Prime card you get 5% cash back on the purchase at Woot.

I have the S24U and the upgrade to the S26U is not worth it to me.

Now the S27U is going to be a major upgrade according to leaks.

I think the only difference between the camera hardware on the two is that S26 Ultra has a slightly larger aperture than the S25 Ultra. Whether that would make a difference on the pictures you take, I can't guess.

Leaks on the S27 Ultra say the camera will be much improved. However, given the AI memory crisis, absent a miracle it will either be outrageously expensive or will have both reduced DRAM and storage capacity.
