"Equipped with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM"

Just know that means RAM cannot be upgraded, if you need more than 16GB, as this is board-integrated memory.

The listing shows it has two dimm slots and is upgradable

Directly from the eBay listing:

【Expandable Memory and Storage】: Equipped with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD, the S3A Mini PC ensures smooth operation for various applications. With storage expansion up to 2TB, it offers ample space for multitasking and data storage.

LPDDR5 is board-integrated. The only expansion possible is storage, not memory.

The problem with relying on the pictures in the listing is they also claim it uses DDR4 SODIMMs. Clearly that's an error, because no H255 board in existence uses DDR4, just DDR5/LPDDR5. The problem happened because they pulled generic Acemagic S3A model marketing material, with some of those older models indeed using DDR4 and a Zen 2 Ryzen 5700u. This model is clearly the H255 version, which uses non-upgradeable LPDDR5.

"16GB (8GB x 2) LPDDR5 6400MT/s Non-upgradable"

https://acemagic.com/products/ace...0334216498

If this were the 6800H or 8945HS variant, it would indeed use SODIMMs. The H255 version is LPDDR only.

It's an easy mistake to make because Acemagic is lazy with their model numbers. They should have changed the name of this series rather than continuing to call all 4 very different PCs, "S3A."
