All TVs are basically filled with bloat. A $2000 LG C5 feels considerably more sluggish than my old $500 Vizio M series TV when just trying to switch inputs or change settings. The "home screen" feels way better but I'm not connecting a smart TV in 2026 to the internet, especially not from the big brands. Unironcially I'd trust the Chinese Hisense over any name brand in America for privacy.

People are wary of Samsung's due to power supply failures, though I think they usually occur within a couple months and during the warranty period. Costco has great policy for defective units though.

This is WOLED vs QDOLED, like the 65 and 77" versions of this. Less brightness and less color, fyi.

I have a LG C2 and basic operations don't seem sluggish to me. It's not blazing fast but it's perfectly usable. I have had a Samsung Tizen OS tv in the past and I know what the experience the other person is talking about.

Thanks, I did notice that difference in the panels but not sure I could find a QDOLED in 83 inch anytime soon. This is a great deal for an 83 inch

I have this TV in this size and I absolutely love it. The is a great deal. The Costco warranty makes it even better.

The 83 in G5 and G6 actually uses tandem OLED technology, which is better than WOLED. The G5 was on sale earlier this month for $3,100, which I bought. The picture is amazing and very bright.

I won't ever buy a Samsung again solely because the OS is garbage. Yes, I know pretty much every TV has issues and yes, I do have a streaming stick connected, but Samsung is by far the worst. I wish one of these companies would make just 1 model that had a beefy CPU and such so that it could navigate smoothly. Sony, please. I also wouldn't get an OLED that's not LG. They're just ahead of the game.

I don't know what kind of TV you have but my LG C9 gets slower every update. I should have disabled updates.

that sucks....I have a Sony as my main one, but LGs OLED is unmatched. I guess you need an Onn streaming box for that guy
