Walmart vs marketplace seller is the price difference.

The evo was just on sale at woot for $80, with regular price seemingly being $100 vs the MSRP $150; so not quite the deal IMO

I have zero need whatsoever for this (I have a TI-89 Titanium I haven't touched for over a decade), but I like the design of these and the fact that they're rechargeable/USB-C now.
Nice to see an old dog get a long overdue refresh, even if they still seem a bit overpriced - granted, it's 2026 now and $100 seems like a lot less money than it used to.

Well, Target's [target.com] sale price is $105 and Office Depot/Office Max's [officedepot.com] sale price is $130.

It was redesigned back in 2015.

Guess so, but like I said it's been over a decade since I even gave graphing calculators a thought, lol

The Evo is just an upgraded version. The user was asking about the redesign, as they switched from the bulky calculator look to a more modern appearance back in 2015.

Nah, I specifically stated 'refresh', which the Evo was - now with USB-C charging which is always nice to have... so we're all partially correct lol
...but yeah the major redesign which the EVO appears to share happened in 2015.
