Thank you for bike deals! Great pedals if you ride flats. Lots to choose from these days, but these are also great. I'm using magped's because the surgeon said no more clipless pedals (mcl and lcl).

Thank you for bike deals! Great pedals if you ride flats. Lots to choose from these days, but these are also great. I'm using magped's because the surgeon said no more clipless pedals (mcl and lcl).

Sorry to hear that Tyler! Take it easy out there. I have to be careful with my knees. Bike fit is a thing I should have paid more attention to earlier. Magpeds are nice IMO need to order a set one day soon.

Make sure you adjust seat height to accommodate different pedals if the the new pedal height is significant enough. I hot swapped broken pedals on a bike tour with new ones without doing so, and ended up with knee pain that took me way too long to trace back to the new pedals.

Good point. Majority of people have a saddle that is too high or too low and it can absolutely cause knee pain and serious injury. Just a slight bend at the knee when foot is at the 6 o'clock position. Then there's q-factor, saddle fore/aft, saddle angle, stem length, bar width, stack height, etc.
